To adopt or not to adopt....

It seems that the rumors going around about new restrictions are pretty true. My agency confirmed that there are going to be some new restrictions, but they aren't sure when or which ones will be put into affect immedietly.

Several of the new rules apply to us. We were going to begin the paperchase for baby #2. A sister for Taylor. However, if these new rules are put into affect in December, there would be no way we would have our paperwork in time.

So, we don't know if we should start the process and hope that we finish in time. If we don't, the home study itself is 1750.00. We really aren't intersetd in another program at this time and have talked about maybe just having Taylor and her be a only child.

However, I would love for Taylor to have a sister. To experience what having a sister is like. Someone to laugh with, share secrets, etc.

I hope that this is just a rumor and not going to true. While the wait is at 13 months now, that is the least of my concerns. I just think it would be sad for Taylor not to grow up with a sister or even a brother.
